While high priced entertainment industry lawyers have been successful in knocking down one after another of the net’s top file sharing networks, the reality is that there are too many waiting to take the place of the fallen. File sharing will exist as long as the internet is free.  And so will music industry profits in their way of business doesn’t change.

But instead of embracing this new technology, trying to become a part of it and devising ways to profit from it, the music industry (along with network television and the film industry) have done everything in their power to block progress and maintain its traditional business model.   This industry will be reviewed in more detail in the months ahead ; but in the meantime, the infographic below (from oddee.com) shows the result of the music industries war on music.
