Can you type well? Do you have the ability to hear someone speak and remember everything they say? A medical transcriptionist will always be able to find work in this highly-demanding field. In this field, the median hourly rate is $15.82.

Work will involve listening to recordings, typically uploaded by doctors and medical professionals, and transcribing everything that is heard.

If you have a word processing program and can type fast, this may be an opportunity for you.

Translator

Do you speak more than one language? Many people don’t know it yet, but the ability to speak another language can equate to a career as a translator. The median salary of these professionals is $43,000, but if you’re in a specialized field, such as the medical field, you can expect to earn over $51,000 per year.

The main determining factor to get a job is the language you speak. If you speak Spanish, French or Arabic, you’ll find many job opportunities available.
