‘Oil – not democracy – is what West wants in Libya’

Here is a little more perspective on the Libyan matter.   According to this interview, the goal of western powers is not democracy but Libyan Oil – a view that is shared by most of Latin America and the political left.  While it is controversial, this view is merely another fragment of the entire Libyan puzzle.  Stay alert for an upcoming article of mine where I paint quite a different picture of the Libyan civil war, of Gaddafi, and of the motives for western intervention!  In the meantime, as always, share your thoughts!
