The Northern Lights also known as Aurora are not fully understood but to know when spring has arrived, Canadians walking their dogs after dinner, Scandinavians popping out to the sauna, and Alaskan Huskies on the Iditarod trail—all have to do is look up and behold the green curtains of light dancing across the night sky.

The magnetic field shifts and releases a great burst of energy that forms the Aurora since they are more frequent around the months of Equinoxes.

NASA has released satellites to track and observe the Aurora racing north over Alaska and Canada in the next few weeks.
