Usain Bolt, Professor of The 100m

His celebrations and “flavour” have created quite a brand for himself. He’s synonymous with first place, speed, and energy. Now, he’s going to share this with you.

Six-time Olympic Gold Medallist Usain Bolt is a self-confessed poor starter. But following a good reaction, his drive phase gets him going; keeping your body forward and your head down are the most important. Following that, he gets tall and straight, has his knees up and shoulders down. That, is his top form, and his top speed.

He glances left, glances right, and let the cheers guide him towards the finish. The last 10m is when he knows if victory is his, because he has roughly three strides to go. “You’re not gonna catch me,” he says.
